Security Breach at Port of Palm Beach: Man Detained After Jumping Into Water

Security Breach at Port of Palm Beach as Unidentified Man Arrested After Waterside Incident

In the early hours today, the Port of Palm Beach experienced a security breach that led to a swift response from both local and federal authorities. Around 4:30 AM, a security officer on patrol spotted an unidentified man within a restricted zone at the port’s east section. Despite multiple attempts by the officer to communicate, the man refused to respond or verify his identity, leading the officer to notify the Director of Security and the Riviera Beach Police Department.

The Riviera Beach Fire Department transported the man to a local hospital. He has since been banned from the port by the Director of Security.
